| WELCOME ! My name is 'Dennis the menace' and I live in Stockholm, Sweden, "The state of taxes" and "The land of wikings", and this is my slingshot: a Mazda 626 2.5i V6 Hatch 1997. I bought the car at 16th of july 2004. The slingshot's nickname ? 'MISCHIEF TOY' |
FRONT VIEW
'Mischief Toy' newly renovated and repainted (fall 2008) , Xenon pamps, Chromed invisible turn signals, Foglights bhind net, home made netgrill and improved air intake, etc. etc. New in the front area after the renovation 2008 is: I made me a netgrill, foglights behind net, smal registrationplate, new car horn's, new windshield, the windshield wipers are repainted, and a new bumper without the headlight spolers. the bumper is also strengthen underneath, with a strong aluminium baulk and foam, anti-corrosive treatment all over. |
REAR VIEW
Simon sport exhoust system, It sounds so good! not to loud and not to quiet, it's perfect. Registration plate holder text: 'Look stock and two smoking barrels' I'v got the idea from the film title: Lock stock and two smoking barrels. New at the rear after the renovation 2008 is: New rear bumper, (the parking sensors will be more descret this time, work in progress) I also got me a trailer hitch for parking protection, and it's also very practical. The rear window wiper is repainted, and there are new exhoust holders, anti-corosive treatment all over |
SIDE VIEW
| The car is dropp'd -40mm. (Cobra lowering springs) I also widen the "wheelbase" with 5mm spacers. The skirts where stock in Europe for the V6 Hatch model, in the year's 1992-1997. New on the side's after the renovation 2008 is: The wheel center caps are painted in Gray instead or Red, new break's front and rear, the rear wing's (bouth sides) are replaced with new ones, anti-corrosive treatment all over, acoustic insulation all over, new text on the skirts: 'Mazdaspeed' and 'Varning för hästarna' = (beware of the horse's). |
INTERIOR
Very nice black lether interior with electric sport seats, panels in "walnut" and white homemade gouges (photoshop) all options exept pasenger airbag. New inside the car after the renovation 2008 is: Roof hatch in glass (option), new rubber mat's, new smaller mobilephone holder, acoustic inulation all over, 7" Panasonic strada GPS, and there will be a new stereo later on. |
LIGHTS
Xenon (6000 = White) low beam, make's the torents of lights 3 times better, 4 in 1 white led parking lamps, Plasma high beam lamps, chromed "invisible" turn signal lamps in the corner's and on the side's and foglights behind net. There will be Xenon (6000) in the high beam to in the future. |
ENGIN
24 valve, 2.5 liter, injection V6 engine, a large lintec redline TW double cone air filter, the air intake sound's stunningly beautiful at full throttle. New in the engin room after the renovation 2008 is: New seals and belts, new cam belt, new water pump, the valve cap's are painted in green (they will soon be repainted in red), I have freshen my own improved air intake, that are placed behind the net grill, and I will soon assamle a strutbar in red. |
WHEELS
Honda Type-R 7x17" rims, and Bridgestone Potenza 215/45 R17 summer tires, and original Mazda 6,5x15" alum rims, with Bridgestone Blizzak 195/65 R15 winter tires. I have plans for 7,5x18" rims q8~) |
